Real estate is a tough, competitive business. Studies have shown that REALTORS® with one or more designations considerably increase their income-earning potential.

The Greater Harrisburg REALTORS® Institute, in partnership with the Pennsylvania REALTORS® Institute, the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg, and other organizations, offers a variety of designation and certification programs throughout the year. You will find the designation courses being held at GHAR under Continuing Education. You may also want to check out PAR’s statewide education calendar at www.parealtor.org. Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES)
Thursday and Friday, December 14 & 15, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Instructor: Pat Moyer, ABR, CRS, ePRO, GREEN, GRI, SFR, SRES, SRSGHRI is offering the SRES Designation Course. The SRES Designation Course helps real estate professionals develop the business-building skills and resources for specialization in the 50+ real estate market by expanding knowledge of how life stages impact real estate choices, connecting to a network of resources, and fostering empathy with clients and customers. This designation course is approved for 1 Broker credit and 15 Hours PA Real Estate CE for the 2016-2018 cycle. Core course for the SRES Designation.  ABR elective course.  Cost is $299.  Includes lunch every day.

Accredited Buyer’s Representative Designation (ABR®) March 12 & 13, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Instructor: Melanie McLane, ABR, CRB, CRS, CDEI, ePRO, GREEN-CERTIFIED, GRI, RAA, RSPS, SRES, SRS The goal of the 2-day ABR Designation Core Course is to establish a foundation of training, skills, and resources to help real estate professionals succeed as a buyer’s representative. Students will learn how build a buyer-representative business, value the services they perform on behalf of buyer-clients, increase confidence to work toward a signed buyer representation agreement, gain methods, tools, and techniques to provide the support and services that buyers want. Approved for 1 Broker credit and 15 Hours PA Real Estate CE for the 2016-2018 cycle. Cost is $299. Includes lunch both days. Real Estate Brokerage and Office Management April 4, 6, 11 & 13, 2018, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Instructor: Sue Kichman This is a required course for broker licensure candidates. Topics will include: Communication, Leadership and Management Skills; Policies and Procedures; Marketing the Office, Company and Properties; Staffing and Recruitment; Training and Coaching your REALTORS®. Approved for 2 broker credits and 30 hours of PA Real Estate Continuing Education for the 2016-2018 cycle. Cost is $350. Includes lunch every day. Text book is $25.
