The Special Events Committee is charged with planning several networking events:
- Membership Appreciation Reception
- REALTORS® Take Time Out
- Holiday Lunch and Installation
Membership Appreciation Reception
The Membership Appreciation Reception, free to all members, is simply fun. Each year, the committee chooses a theme for the reception. Food, drinks and decorations compliment the theme. The reception provides an opportunity for the Association to say “thank you” to its members. The Membership Appreciation Reception is usually held in March or April.
REALTORS® Take Time Out
REALTORS® Take Time Out events are strictly networking events for our REALTORS®. The events, sponsored by affiliate members, are held at restaurants and bars in the greater Harrisburg area. The locations are rotated around the area and have included restaurants in Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Wormleysburg, Harrisburg and Hummelstown. These events are held 3-4 times a year. Light hors d’oeuvres are provided by the host restaurants so attendees only pay for their own beverages. These events, held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., are fun networking opportunities

Holiday Lunch and Installation
In late November or early December, the Association hosts its annual Holiday Lunch and Installation of Officers and Directors. The Association and the Foundation honors its incoming elected leadership at this lunch. The lunch is sponsored by several of our affiliate members. The networking lunch provides members and the Association the chance to reflect back on the year and to look forward to the opportunities in the coming year.
The 2017 Holiday Lunch is December 1, 2017.
