Mission
The Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Foundation supports non-profit charitable organizations with a focus on housing and shelter.
Who We Are
The Foundation serves as the charitable arm of the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS®. Through fundraising, donation drives, and community partnerships, we provide financial support to organizations addressing housing and shelter needs across Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry counties.
While operating under the Association’s guidance, the Foundation functions independently, with its own governance and charitable focus.
Governance & Structure
The Foundation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Inc. and is incorporated as a non-profit organization under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. GHRF is recognized as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code.
The Foundation is guided by a ten-member Board of Directors that oversees its policies, priorities, and charitable initiatives. Click here to view the board.
Our History
Formally established in 1990, the Foundation builds on the Association’s long-standing commitment to community service. Over the years, GHRF has supported a wide range of community projects and donation drives. In recent years, the Foundation has sharpened its focus on strategic fundraising to support local non-profit organizations making a meaningful impact in housing and shelter services throughout the Greater Harrisburg region.
